What we've been up to: 24 March
A pleasant short week as we welcome in the Easter weekend and the first bank holiday of the year!
We opened this week up with a creative burst, as we hosted the live pitch finals of the UK Young PR Lions competition run by the PRCA. For the third year, our Candace Kuss joined a power jury to select the team that will represent the UK at Cannes Lions in 2016.
It is wonderful to see participation in the Young Lions program grow. In London we saw ten times the interest in competing in 2016 after our team won in 2015 and this year we also had teams enter the Young Cyber Lions and the Young Lions Health Award. Creativity is contagious.
Rachel Matovu and Helen Wood took part in The Guardian’s Cannes Young Lions competition which saw 300 applicants from different creative agencies across the UK respond to a brief from the British Red Cross in 24 hours. The team entered the Cyber category which focuses on using an integrated digital campaign strategy to respond to the objectives of the brief. In true H+K practice, the pair used the purpose driven model to draw on insights and truths, brain storm technologies and develop an eye- opening campaign. 24 hours later, they submitted...
This week, a trio from the healthcare team hopped over to Zug to see clients. On top of a few days of productive meetings and mountain air, the whole trip came to a sweet close with chocolate Easter bunnies on their way out to the airport. An anonymous chocolate expert within the team notes that it was “the best bunny of her life.”
Lastly, a big congratulations to the Healthcare and CPG teams for being shortlisted for The Drum Marketing Awards!
Otsuka Lundbeck’s ‘Caring for the carer’ shortlisted for the Customer Insight Strategy of the year category and Pampers & UNICEF’s ‘1 pack = 1 vaccine’ for Global Brand Strategy of the year category.
Bisqit walks away with both Gold and Silver at the Transform Europe awards 2016 for Best implementation of a brand development project and Best visual identity from the energy & extractives sector categories!
Great job guys!
Wishing you all a Happy Easter break!
